Meet The Instructor
Chand Mohammed

I grew up in India, primarily in a secular environment. Alhamdulillah, once I recognized Islam as the true faith, I aimed to deepen my understanding and practice. To grasp the Quran, I realized I needed to learn Arabic. I spent four to five years trying different resources like books, CDs, and community courses, but they didn't prove effective. This was before the era of Google and YouTube.

In 2003, my prayers were answered when I began private Arabic lessons with teachers from Egypt. For the next five to six years, I devoted all my time and effort to learning the language, including conversation and tajweed.

Eventually, a few friends requested that I teach them what I had learned, which led me to begin teaching in 2010. On a side note, I speak about seven languages.
